Position-Associate– O&M Engineer
Division    – Operations & Maintenance
Location – Bengaluru, India

 

Role & Responsibilities

 

  1. Ensure reliable and safe operation of all plant equipment and systems as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  2. Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  3. Conduct routine inspections, performance monitoring, and condition assessments of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  4. Analyze equipment failures and implement root cause analysis (RCA) with effective corrective and preventive actions.
  5. Coordinate with project, production, and safety teams to ensure smooth plant operations and adherence to operational KPIs.
  6. Prepare and maintain maintenance records, daily reports, and performance logs in line with corporate reporting standards.
  7. Review spare parts inventory and raise requirements to ensure maintenance readiness and cost optimization.
  8. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary operational data, reports, and compliance documentation.
  9. Participate in annual shutdown planning, commissioning activities, and post-maintenance performance validation.
  10. Contribute to the implementation and testing of maintenance management systems and digital tools (CMMS / ERP).

Job Specifications

 

Essential Qualification

B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

Experience

2–3 years in Plant Operations & Maintenance or Industrial Asset Management

Critical Competencies

 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound knowledge of equipment performance and maintenance systems. Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance with proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Good understanding of safety standards, compliance, and quality systems. Familiarity with CMMS tools and MS Excel for reporting and data management. Collaborative team player with adaptability to handle on-site challenges and optimize asset reliability.
